Reminiscing Japan

Okay, so my friend and I, Steph, went to Japan for a semester to study. There, we got to eat a lot of good food.

During our first day/night, we ate in Saizeriya.
We didn't eat in this particular Saizeriya, but we ate in a branch nearer where we lived. I lost all my pictures in Japan, unfortunately, due to a hard drive malfunction, so most if not all of these pics are not my pics. :( Thankfully, Steph, managed to take some pictures so yay.

For my first meal, I ate the Doria which was one of the cheapest dishes. We heard rumors that Japan was super expensive and while true, Saizeriya prices weren't that bad.

So yes, this is a Saizeriya doria. Thank you, Google. Doesn't it look all cheesy and gooey and tomato-ey? Yes it does and it's delish! I really love cheese so this was quite a treat. In a way, it's kinda like baked spaghetti but instead of spaghetti, there's rice. Baked rice in Spaghetti sauce with lotsa cheese. And an egg on top. Yummyyyyyy :D

On our subsequent visits, Steph and I also managed to try the pizza and buffalo wings.

The pizza was pretty good, albeit somewhat small. The wings were a bit fatty, I think and somewhat spicy but I like spicy so it didn't matter to me. The Japanese don't seem too fond of spicy things though, which is a pity. Their hot sauce wasn't "hot" enough for me XD Haha.

Here is a close up of the pizza :O

Yummy cheeese.

Yes, I am a fan of cheese as well.

Interestingly enough, there are actually a lot of Italian-inclined food restaurants in Japan. :D

That's it for this post :D
